Dani & Drew married on April 27th, at the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club in Stevensville, MD.
Their reception was in the new Garden Room at the Beach Club which is stunning! Wait until you see the floral ceremony arch Vintage Affairs put together!
This was the most teary-eyed wedding I’ve shot to date. Both sides of the family were emotional all day long, and it made me tear up a couple of times too! I love when a family isn’t afraid to show how they truly feel about the bride and groom. It’s no question these two are deeply loved and cherished. They each had 9 bridal party members, so the getting ready part of the day was wild and filled with lots of fun!
I loved so many moments of this day, but my favorite was during the ceremony. The officiant had Dani & Drew look at each other’s hands and she talked all about what those hands will do and see together in their lifetime. It was really special. I also loved at the reception when their daughter walked over to guests and held out her hands for them to dance with her— so stinkin’ precious! This wedding day was perfect in every way and I hope you enjoy a glimpse of it!
Thank you to a very special couple, Dani & Drew, for having me document your wedding day!

We had the honor of capturing Jackie and Kyle’s Chesapeake Bay Beach Club wedding this past May. The two of them share a bond of over ten years, and completely compliment one another from Jackie’s keen eye for detail to Kyle’s love for all things boating and fishing. Their wedding at Chesapeake Bay Beach Club was filled with beautiful colors, and warm laughter from friends and family. As as the saying goes…rain on your wedding day is truly good luck, and although the rain may have hindered our beloved sunset shots the day of, we were able to revisit the Chesapeake Bay Beach Club in order to capture a pretty spectacular sunset on the bay.
When I asked Kate what she was looking for in a photographer she said ” I want them to capture the classic portraits of family members and the wedding itself but I also love candid pictures, creative poses and anything that captures the night. I am not a creative person by nature so I rely on the eye of the photographer.” This is exactly the kind of client I attract because I am a mix of artistic, fun stylistic formals, and photojournalism.
This Waterfront Venue is the perfect wedding spot for an Eastern Shore Wedding. Kate has a natural affection for the area because she grew up near the shore. One of my favorite aspects of photographing at the Chesapeake Bay Beach club is that everything is one spot. Couples are able to have an outdoor ceremony with the bay bridge in the background, barefoot beach portraits, and absolutely incredible service from everyone there. I have never had a bad meal there and trust me I have had a LOT of venue meals.
The Tavern Ballroom has a vaulted wood ceiling in a Tavern style bar that overlooks the Chesapeake Bay. The wedding was a simple, elegant, classic affair with a pink and white color scheme. The arrangements by Michael Design Florist were placed in antique crystal chandeliers and filled with white hydrangeas, pink roses, and organic greenery set on crisp white linens.
